The Three Pillars of Wellbeing
Sleep Body Mind was developed from a passion to help high achieving women to rediscover the power of sleep and wellness to get more out of their life through targeted coaching programs. The mission of Sleep Body Mind is to improve women’s wellness and to help them achieve their personal and professional goals by putting sleep at the center of our targeted coaching programs that aim to connect and address eating habits, exercise routines, and mental well being.
When treating sleep issues, we focus our treatment strategy in two parts –on the root and the branch. The root is the underlying reason why you can’t sleep and the branch is the sleep issue itself.
Most over-the-counter and doctors prescribed pharmaceutical sleep aids to treat the branch. Meaning they may help bring sleep on unnaturally, but don’t solve whatever underlying problem is causing the sleep issue. The approach at Sleep Body Mind is to provide techniques to help you sleep better and faster, whilst investigating and treating the underlying reasons for the sleep issue. This produces more sustainable and balanced results.
Nice to meet you
I’m Helen Peckman
Health coach, Sleep specialist and Human Design reader.
I am a certified Health Coach specializing in women's wellness and sleep. My passion lies in understanding the intricate connection between the mind, body, and soul, and recognizing the remarkable uniqueness of each individual. Specifically, I am deeply passionate about the transformative power of sleep and rest, and how improving these areas can enhance personal well-being and overall quality of life.
Having personally experienced the detrimental effects of sleep deprivation on mental and physical well-being since I was a teenager, I empathize with those facing similar challenges. I, like many others, used to consider myself a "bad sleeper" without considering the impact of my lifestyle, stress levels, mindset, and individual characteristics on my sleep patterns.
My approach is the result of years of experimentation and learning from diverse methodologies, dedicated to helping both myself and others overcome sleep issues. By working with experts in holistic health, medical doctors, and clinical psychologists, I have acquired extensive firsthand knowledge of sleep mechanisms and the effectiveness of various wellness techniques. Additionally, as a Human Design reader, I use this system to understand how each of us has different needs in terms of sleep and rest, and how to best use our energy, manage our stress, and calm our busy minds. This insight allowed me to coach myself and my clients more effectively, tailoring advice and strategies according to their natural tendencies.
During my time in London, I extensively studied Sleep Disorders and completed certified yoga training focused on sleep recovery. Subsequently, in NYC, I became a certified Health Coach and delved into the study of the subconscious mind. It was during this period that I began my exploration of Human Design. Currently, I am in Singapore, undergoing training to become a certified Human Design reader, building upon my four years of intensive study in this field.
The creation of Sleep Body Mind stems from my desire to assist other women in achieving better sleep and overall well-being, tailored to their unique mental and physical characteristics using the framework of Human Design. I provide targeted advice and offer practical tools that not only enhance the overall wellness of my clients but also reduce their stress levels, enabling them to make the most of their demanding lifestyles.
